Singapore continues to be a buzzing place of many exciting things. If you’re looking for some great suggestions and experiences to try out this month. Check out some of our picks for your enjoyment!

1. GREEN IS THE NEW BLACK

If you’re one who supports mother earth, then you definitely can’t miss this. Hotel Jen Tanglin and The Wedge Asia is hosting the 2nd edition of this “conscious festival” this year on 22nd of October.

You can expect to:

  • Enjoy some collaborative workshops in the fields of urban farming, growing living gardens and yoga.
  • Shop and dine with over 50 environment conscious brands
  • Enjoy Live music from local bands and performers
  • Capped with pool party

To fit the theme, do carpooling with your friends on the way there!

2. OKTOBER FEST

The big one this month is first on our list. October fest is here and you can feel it almost everywhere in Singapore. The malls will be filled with beer gardens laced with authenticity laid out with a street party vibe where you can conveniently shop for goods the mall offers as well.

Watch out for the Erdinger BARcycle where you can both enjoy beer and feel less guilty about it working out a cardio as you pedal through the streets with 14 other folks.

Go out in style with one of our limousine services in Singapore during this beer-infused trip and leave the safe driving to us while you have fun!

3. NEW ART FEATURED BY THE SINGAPORE BIENNALE

If you are art lover, you can get a view of new art to be featured by the Singapore Biennale as they add 11 new artists to join their line-up.

The line-up includes much awaited work by Rathnin Barmanff (one reputable for his wise socio-political interpretations), Amad Fuad Osman a popular artist who works with mixed-media, Han Sai Por, the winner of the Singaporean Cultural Medallion, Freyool Darma, who had an interesting debut, Moyang, depicting the movement of different forces in the history of the Malay archipelago through his paintings, and many other wonderful artists.

Artwork will be displayed within and in surrounding areas of the Singapore Art Museum in Queen Street from October 27 through February 26, 2017, and will be featuring site-specific works of art following the theme/title “Atlas of Mirrors”.

4. WTA FINALS

If you love this game, then this one’s for you! The Queen of tennis are back on the court for smashing sets that’ll keep you at the edge of your seat.

Featuring the world’s best 8 women players in Singles and Double Pairs will be battling head-to-head vying for the championship. The competition lasts for 10 days, and you can head over to the Marina Bay Sands to catch the Singles Draw Ceremony on October 21.

There are also off-court activities to enjoy with the opening Family Day on October 23. The off-court event features games, picture-taking and close-up opportunities with your favorite tennis queens. Maybe even score some prized mementos of photos signed and autographed by your tennis idols from the Fan Zone.
